Erisa Flewell leads with empathy and compassion in her coaching, while meeting the client exactly where they are. A new mother, she understands that lasting lifestyle change is a deeply personal and sometimes challenging journey; the road to change is never one-size-fits-all! That is why she seeks to champion each of her clients towards their own version of optimal health.

While pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Shenandoah University, Erisa struggled through a series of underlying health concerns that led her to the field of functional medicine. After being a student of the body and physical medicine for so many years, it was only natural that she developed a passion for health and well-being in the process of her own healing. After graduation, she continued her education in wellness through the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy to become a certified health coach. Her goal was to help others experience the freedom of root-cause medicine she had received.

As a coach, she feels particularly passionate about her clients maintaining healthy relationships with their food and bodies throughout the healing journey. Outside of Companion Health, Erisa stays active by teaching several dance classes at a local studio. And as a coffee connoisseur and social butterfly, she will always say yes to a cup of coffee with friends.
