High-Stress Executive with Advanced Cardiovascular Risk

About this study

A 57-year-old business owner with coronary artery disease lost 80 pounds, cut his daily medications from seven to three, and now exercises an hour a day.

The client:

An entrepreneur managing a business of 250+ employees, presenting with hypertension, high cholesterol, obesity, gout, coronary artery disease, sleep apnea, and a family history of cardiovascular disease and lung cancer. He had put his health on hold while building his business, using food for comfort and foregoing sleep for work. Exercise: none.

‍

His goals:

Establish care with a team that could address his current health issues while proactively managing his familial risk. He wanted in-depth testing, education on nutrition, stress management and exercise, and a long-term plan, not just a prescription.

‍

The results:

Nutrition. Sleep. Libido. Activity levels. Stress management. Pain. Mental clarity. Self-awareness. Self-confidence.

‍

What's next:

His ongoing focus includes continued Lp(a) management and hormone optimization. Feeling better was not the finish line. It was the starting point for what comes next.

‍

* Lp(a) is a genetically linked cardiovascular risk factor that most standard panels do not test for. Its identification here reflects the diagnostic depth that defines the Companion Health approach.
