In October 2023 and 2024, Carlos Jorge, MD spoke at the Bourne Summit, Bourne Partners' annual healthcare investor conference at Quail Hollow Country Club in Charlotte. The audience of roughly 100 included business owners, executives, private equity investors, and pharmaceutical professionals.

Carlos shared the stage with a physician from Hims & Hers to discuss "The Rise of GLP-1s and Their Impact Across the Healthcare Ecosystem," exploring the rapid emergence of GLP-1 medications and their broad implications for healthcare. In a second session, "Aging and Longevity: How to Maximize Your Lifespan," he covered the fundamentals of aging, the cardiovascular and inflammatory markers every adult should know, and lessons from the Blue Zones on healthy longevity. Both sessions closed with lively audience Q&A on emerging health trends and prevention.
