Brittney Overcash is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Health Care Administration. She has more than 17 years of healthcare experience spanning acute care, care management, and population health. Brittney has always had a heart for helping people, and her approach to nursing is grounded in compassion, connection, and helping clients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their healthcare journey.

Drawn to Companion Health’s personalized and preventative model of care, Brittney enjoys building relationships with clients and supporting them through their healthcare journey. One of her favorite parts of nursing is getting to truly know each client, taking the time to listen, answer questions, and help them feel more confident about their health. She’s found that even small acts of kindness can make a lasting impact, and this relationship-centered approach lets her care for people in a way she hasn’t experienced elsewhere in healthcare, a reminder of why she chose nursing in the first place. She brings a calm presence and genuine desire to serve others.

Brittney is a wife and mother of two daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cheering on her girls at their sporting events, and finding any excuse to enjoy a great cup of coffee.
