Learning about the impact mass-produced meats have on human health and the environment prompted Niki’s interest in clean eating and protecting the environment when she was in high school, and she hasn’t looked back since. Hungry for more, she became a vegetarian and has maintained that decision for 30 years. That said, she has learned firsthand that every ‘body’ is unique in what it needs to flourish; there are no one-size-fits all dietary solutions.
Niki has a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Health and Sport Studies from Miami University. After graduating, she owned and operated two franchises of The Little Gym for ten years. She then decided to “stay home” and raise her three children. Always following her inner inspiration, she led their school’s garden club as well as starting two independent businesses educating families on the importance of fruits & vegetables and clean personal care products. In addition, she received her Health Coaching Certificate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, co-founded a blog and health coaching company and earned both her 200 hour yoga certification and 500 hour comprehensive Pilates certification. She currently teaches Pilates, believes that what you focus on improves, and also that everyone’s path to optimal health is different. Niki spends most of her free time with her husband watching their kids play soccer and lacrosse. When not at the fields, she enjoys paddleboarding, boating, camping and walking her labs. She’s an aeroponic gardener and enjoys cooking from scratch.
